Michael Šust - Senior Pastor

Michael Šust is the founding pastor of Harvest Bible Chapel St. Louis. He had a life-saving encounter with Christ during his escape from communism in 1986. Shortly thereafter he came to the United States to start a new life. In 1991 he left his opera singer career and embraced vocational ministry. For sixteen years, he served as a worship pastor and evangelist in various Christian churches in Massachusetts, Texas, and Missouri. In September 2006, Michael met Pastor James MacDonald and at his prompting responded to the call to plant Harvest St. Louis in partnership with Harvest Bible Fellowship.
Michael enjoys classical singing and tennis. He is married to Colleen, his love and wife of twenty-seven years; they live in Wildwood, MO. They have two daughters, Annie (married to Nate, granddaughters Alina and April) and Christy.
Nate Hart – Associate Pastor for Student Ministries

Nate has been a believer in Christ for twenty years. He surrendered his life to Christ in his teen years impacted by other teens living out their faith and sharing the truth of the Bible. Since then, has been passionate about discipling, loving and serving students. He has served on staff in churches as a student minister, worship leader and preaching pastor. Nate and his wife of eighteen years, Kelly, helped start a college ministry at the University of Arizona in Tucson. They are the loving parents of five daughters and share the passion for helping others raise Christ-centered families in a culture of many challenges. Nate enjoys fitness and working out. Concerning exercise, his philosophy is “one more rep.” Concerning ministry, his philosophy is “love one more for Christ.”
Christy Šust - Interim Worship Coordinator

Christy was saved at a young age and has been on a sanctifying journey ever since, regarding her time in college to be some of the most fruitful and growing times of her spiritual life. She is a recent college graduate from Palm Beach Atlantic University in Florida with a Bachelor's in Theatre! Christy has been joyfully serving as a vocalist on the worship team since 2009 and more recently as an audio engineer for Harvest's worship production team. Despite her focus on theatre for her college degree, Christy has also received formal worship training at both Family Church in downtown West Palm Beach as well through the Harvest Summer Internship in Elgin, IL as a Worship Intern. She enjoys all forms of storytelling (especially going to see movies!) and she hopes you will experience the high impact worship we aim to deliver here at Harvest!
Kelly Hart – Director of Harvest Kids

Married to: Nate
Kelly grew up in a Christian home and took personal ownership of her faith as a college freshman at Truman State University. Aiming to become a math teacher, God changed her plans when she met the love of her life, Nate, and they decided to teach about the love of Jesus together. After getting married, eighteen years ago, they both attended Central Christian College, where she earned her Associate of Arts. Since becoming members at Harvest in February 2017, Kelly has been serving alongside her husband in Harvest Student Ministry. As a mom of five beautiful daughters, Kelly definitely has a passion for teaching children and helping them to grow in Christ. One of her favorite verses is 3 John 1:4: "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth." This joy extends to the ministry and all the precious kids God has entrusted to her care.
Jennifer Schumacher – Office Administrator
Born: Hollywood, Florida
Jennifer is the office administrator at Harvest Bible Chapel St. Louis West. The Lord found her during her husband’s illness. As a widow, she continues seeking God’s guidance and love. She grew up in Florida, and lived in DC and Colorado before moving to St. Louis in 2013. Jennifer is a Biblical Counselor certified through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). God willing, she will complete her Masters of Biblical Counseling degree in May 2018 through the online program at The Masters University in Santa Clarita, CA. She enjoys traveling, hiking, biking and growing flowers in her garden.
